Australia to the Canberra embassy. (I’m in Brisbane Australia).
I know it’s only been a week, but I have a flight booked on the 5th of February.
I read through this group extensively before applying so I included many, many additional documents, hoping to ensure a smooth a quick process.
I still have just over two weeks, but I was expecting to hear something, according to what other people’s experiences have been on here. (Seems to be done within a week)
Am I worrying for nothing?
*UPDATE*
I was approved yesterday without any further documentation required. Thankfully
I have asked this question before but it was some time ago when my partner was pregnant, I am an Australian and i now have thai twins to my partner, they were born on the 13 September, so yes there only a couple of months old, I was there for there birth and I am on there birth certificate and they have my last name, the question is about Australian citizenship by Decent, will it be easier to do through the embassy in Bangkok or do in Australia, and what does the process involve. If you have done something like this, any advise would be greatly appreciated.
G'day, looking to apply for the Non-Immigrant O Visa soon. Would anyone know where I could get proof of retirement issued by the applicant's (Australian) Embassy/Consulate? Have spent a long time looking on the Aussie Embassy website without luck :(
Hello. Hopefully someone can help me… I’m on holidays in Thailand and have had to get an emergency passport. The Australian embassy have told me I will have to get an ‘entry stamp’ on my new passport before I depart but no one is able to tell me if I can do this directly at the airport or whether I have to go to Thai immigration head office?! Thanks in advance
I have a certificate to prove i am single and never married. Question.
do i need this certificate stamped by the thai embassy as original before i have it translated to thai. If so can this be done in Ausralia or Thailand ?
I have a question about over 50 retirement visa. I don't have the 800,000 to put in a Thai bank account but I do have an income stream paid by way of a monthly pension of over 65,000 thb. I have written evidence of this. My question is does this pension have to be paid into a Thai bank account. I saw from Criteria published on this page I think by Tod Daniels (item 3) proof is required but it does not specifically mention the Thai bank account. I have several health issues which may require me to return to Australia at any time so I don't really want to transfer my pension here in case it is required by me should I need to return to Australia for health treatment. Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks
