The conversation revolves around applicants discussing their experiences with the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra regarding visa applications. Participants inquire about the turnaround time and share their individual experiences, with some encountering delays and issues during the approval process. It includes mentions of submitting applications online and the impact of intended flight dates on application priorities.
I didn't have one. But I know a flight number from Oz to BKK and I put that in.

Did you submit it via the online portal? I just submitted mine to Canberra office online. Did they seem nice to work with?

So you just show the approval email to immigration at the airport when you enter
yes online. I was worried when they asked for the extra documents but I was approved thankfully. It's all electronic so you never really deal with anyone personally.

Anonymous participant I'm very pleased to hear they asked for more documents, rather than simply rejecting it.
Thanks for the insight! π

Anonymous participant once you get the approval email do you have to activate it at the Canberra consulate?
once I submitted it was 2.5 days and they asked me to submit a remote employment contract. I done that immediately and it was 6 days later I was approved. The email came at 11:30 pm which was a good surprise right before going to sleep.

Anonymous participant so was that 8.5 days or 8.5 business days?
