Hi Chris here from London UK. Going to thailand November 30th arrive in Thailand December 1st. Iam just making sure what I need to enter thailand. Is it just my passport. Please let me know. As I don't want any problems in Bangkok airport. Thanks. Chris
Okay time for another rookie question. Is there a dollar amount that I am expected to be in possession of when I'm going through customs in Thailand? Are they looking for a financial statement to see if I can travel?
Hello! We will be arriving in 2 weeks on 60 day Tourist visa. I recall reading something about showing the equivalent of 10,000 baht in cash on arrival and also a bank statement showing you have sufficient funds for your stay. Is this information correct? Thank you!
Sorry for the silly question, I just read another post about showing proof of finances. May I ask how best to show this ie bank statement or money in wise account? Please be kind, I have never travelled and so trying my best to get everything right. Any advice appreciated. I am coming from Australia on a 30 day visa exempt on arrival. Thanks in advance
We are 2 US citizens, both had a great 2yr ride on the covid visa, left Thailand 5 months ago to travel Cambodia/Vietnam but just booked a return flight to Samui to stay hopefully another 45 days.
Question is; is it still advisable to have 20K baht cash on arrival to BKK? And/or an onward ticket? Or anything outside of those things?
I don't feel like we should be too concerned about all the covid stamps in our passports bc we've been out of the country for awhile, it's obviously not a border run...
