Me and my wife are shareholders of a company and we submitted our business documents. We simply sent same documents with my wife they did not want any additional employment contract for her, while they wanted from me. As I am the 50% shareholder of the company. Should I write an employment contract directly to myself. Can anyone help ?
Planning on getting a non immigration O visa later this year. Although I am married to a Thai national I have seen perhaps as I’m over 50 and can afford the financial requirements a retirement visa might be the way to go as opposed to a marriage visa, any thoughts! Thanks!
Just landed in BKK on a fresh DTV, received in Jakarta as a freelancer. I was asked by immigration what I did and asked to show proof of my work. I had to pull out my computer and walk the agent through some of my published work while explaining my career. She then asked me why I was applying in Jakarta and not in my home country.
My recommendation is to keep the documents you apply with handy upon arrival in Thailand, perhaps in a folder always accessible on your mobile.
For context, I have spent time in Thailand d and do have a couple of visa exempt entires.
Hope this is helpful to those that I have seen asking if this is happening.
Stupid question maybe, but if you’re closing deals and getting money sent to you while you’re in Thailand, this is all okay as long as you’re on DTV visa or getting paid in your western countries bank account? What’s considered working in Thailand Vs not?

Hey All, I'm a flight attendant seeking to move to Bangkok. can I apply for the visa from the states? I need to go back and forth every 3 weeks , would that alarm immigration?
Would it be possible to get a Muay Thai visa, pay for the course, and then still do some work online while we are in Thailand? Does the visa specifically state it is for work or for play or study, and if we work at the same time would we get in trouble? Or do all the visas look the same? I may want to work to fund my life in Thailand as I study at the same time? Thanks.
I’m planning on moving to Thailand and rent for a year, (next March) I work away for 3 weeks then back to Thailand for 3 weeks, do I still need a visa ? Any help much appreciated
