What is the current minimum insurance requirement for a Non-OA extension? I thought I had seen that it was reduced from THB 3 million to less, but I can't find that anywhere. Thanks.
We are in Malaysia now and we are planning to arrive in Thailand via train around 1st April 2024. But on the Smart Traveler (Australian Government URL ) web page [members only] it is saying that land border crossings only allow 15 days? but I checked the Thai Embassy page and they say 30 days [members only]
Can anyone please confirm there is no issue getting a 30 days Visa Exemption for Australians if entering by train?
Hey everyone, we have some Mexican citizens who want to board a cruise from Athens in a couple weeks. The cruise stops in Thailand and they told us that everyone needs “proper visas” to enter all the countries that the cruise stops at.
Visa On Arrival (VOA) would be nice but it only works if flying in. I’m told that an e-visa takes 3-4 weeks, so that’s too long.
The other option seems to to be getting a Tourist Visa at an embassy (hopefully very quickly) but that means flying to somewhere with a Thai embassy that handles in-person applications (maybe Ankara, maybe Madrid). That seems expensive and risky, but if it’s the only option, we could try it.
So I have searched, phoned and emailed but no response or certainty. Hoping this group can please help or offer advice.
I'm South African, on the Thai embassy website it says South Africans are banned (with the announcement of the Omricon variant early Dec and not updated). But on the Thai Embassy website it says all nationalities are eligible for the Phuket Sandbox program.
Would have liked to apply for 60days visa and extend for another 30days. Or alternatively just come in on 30days and extend for another 30days.
I'm looking to come to Thailand the start of next year with my little girl who is 2. I was looking to get a 90 day visa, or a tourist and just extend it whilst I'm in the country. Everything has changed so much since I last came, and having a child in not sure how it all works now.
