TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for the 800,000 THB in the bank account for a Non-O visa extension can be met with either an active account or a time deposit. However, it's preferable to have access to the funds at any time. Some users reported successfully using time deposits for durations of up to 10 years without issues during immigration checks, as long as they could prove access to the funds.

thanks. Where is your immigration office as I understand that they all are different in requirements? What do you show to immigration ? Letter from the bank?
Jomtien letter from Bank. It depends everywhere on Immigration officer. They want update from bank same day some banks won't do letter same day. You can't update fixed deposit. Try and do everything the same day.
