I am currently in Thailand with a non immigrant ED visa. Because different people told me that I can not change this visa to a non immigrant O based on marriage visa at the Chonburi Immigration, i decided to do this in Penang.
First question: Can I really not change the visa type at Chonburi immigration?
On the website from the Penang Consulate I couldnt find the requirements for this visa type. On the page from the embassy of Kuala Lumpur i could finde some.

Are they easy to get? What do I need to bring with me? With the 20k baht rule if needed do me and my partner need to have 20k in each account?
