I tried to do my 90 day notification online twice, TM 47 notification of 90 days overstay, but got rejected because I was supposed to go there the first time in person Immigration division 1 @ chaeng Watthana. I took bts, transfer wat pra si matthat to pink line platform 2 towards civic center off at government complex.
**make an appointment in advance (3 weeks)
Because I had to wait over three hours without an appointment.
The process took only about two minutes and they issued a receipt (see pic). Just be careful to do it in time because you could get a fine of 2 to 5000 baht.
I really hope it works next time online so I don’t have to come back just for this.
It would be much much nicer if you didn’t have to go in person the first time but if you do, please make an appointment three weeks in advance because sometimes the appointments aren’t available & you could be there for three hours or more. Also, there aren’t enough seats & bring your own pen because they won’t let you borrow a pen to write the form. I have a Thai marriage visa and still have to do this.
Greetings! I have a question. My 90day notification deadline is set on the same day that ill be flying out of thailand. I'm eligible to file it online but should i do so? (knowing ill be going out on the 90th day) or should i just let it pass and file it the next 90days after returning? Thank you!
My visa that I used an agency to obtain expires in August. At the time of applying I was told it was a Non-O business visa, but nowhere in my passport do I see those words - just an extension of stay stamp vaild till August. My question, is it possible to simply depart Thailand and return on a visa exemption without canceling the current visa? If so, are there any consequences for not officially canceling beforehand at immigration?
Also, a 90-day notification is due about the same time as the visa expires. Do I need to attend to this?
I just got an extension of my Non-O Visa based on Retirement until December 31, 2022. It was issued to me on 14 December 2021.
In the evening of the same date, I then applied online for the 90 day notification of residence (my reporting date is 28 December).
Today, I got an auto generated response:
Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.
This is the first time that my application is rejected. Anybody has experienced the same especially now that they are doing .some system maintenance. Any advice?
1. Should i re apply online?
2. Should i go ahead and apply in person (oh no! Long trip again.)
I sent my 90 day notification in line under the new 2021 registration system on 7 Dec. Having eventually found the check status link I see that 2 days later it is still pending whereas before it was approved almost immediately. Have I done something wrong cos I don't want to go over the last date?
