Hello there. I managed to obtain a letter from my embassy regarding the current 60-day extension possibility. However, the letter states that they request the immigration to extend my visa from November 30 to December 30, even though I wrote in the e-mail that I'd like to receive 60 days. I tried to ask to edit it and waiting for further confirmation. However, does anyone know if immigration will consider this part of the letter and only extend my visa only for 30 days at the MTT office? Thanks.

All you can do is go and apply. No one on here can tell you if they will require the embassy letter or not.

Definitely take the letter you have because the immigration officers seem pretty dialed in as far as what embassies/consulates do issue the letter and which ones don't.

It looks like for people with embassy letters, they are only issuing the extension of stay for 30 days at MTT.

Thank you for your reply. So what would be a possible solution? Do I just have to go without an embassy letter to get 60 days? They would just ask for an e-mail then verifying that I could not get an embassy letter. This is kind of crazy...
