Have my letter from embassy and now ready to apply for my extension at immigration Udon but it states in email that the letter can only be issued once. So if I haven’t secured my non b visa before the 30 days, how can I extend for longer to get my non b?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has received a letter from their embassy that allows for a possible 30-day stay extension at immigration. They are concerned about what to do if they do not secure their Non-B visa within that timeframe. Responses suggest confirming the extension possibility with immigration and clarify the type of embassy letter they possess, as it may affect their options for extension.

Embassy knows

Something to remember, is once you are on the embassy letter, it's unknown if you can convert it to an extension of stay based on employment

Because I'm not sure how the Thai government is viewing this stamp; if they are seeing it as a regular type of extension of stay that can be converted to other types, or of it's some type of other classification.

Yes it may greatly limit your choices in the future. Make sure to seriously question them about it before doing it.

You have your Embassy letter...good once for possible 30 days if immigration grants your request.

What Non B visa are you seeking?

Beyond that ask immigration if any other options at that time.

Good Luck.
