Last stamp was extension of 30 days tourist visa. Am I eligible to extend for the 60 days without embassy letter? I thought I’ve read it somewhere.
Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of extending their 30-day tourist visa by an additional 60 days without requiring a letter from the embassy. The response indicated that the decision may depend on the specific immigration office in Thailand, with some potentially allowing the extension without the letter while others may insist on it. It's advisable to check with the local immigration office or seek advice from community groups.

That is between you and the immigration office you're dealing with where you live. Some are handing out the form that lets you select a choice that you can't get the letter and they are saying you can apply for the 60 day extension, BUT others are saying you need the letter
Check with your immigration office OR post on a f/b page related to specifically where you live in thailand and see what other people say
