From a reply on another forum, can I just confirm that if I arrive with a non O-A visa before the expiry date of 17th November I will be stamped to stay for 12 months or until my insurance expires?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, if you arrive in Thailand with a Non O-A visa before the expiry date of November 17th, you will be granted a 12-month stay, provided you meet the insurance requirements.

There are 2 insurances required, the standard health insurance and the $50,000 covid(or not) insurance for all entrants. Or one policy if it fulfills both requirements.
you need 2 certificates. One stating coverage for O-A visa and one for Covid coverage. The immigration officer checked both and stamped me in accordingly.
hello. May I ask where one can acquire this foreign insurance document? Can you download it from some site? Or do you have to obtain it from the immigration office near your place of residence? Thank you in advance for your help. 🙏🏻
had to go get the OA visa issued. And now with changes October 1st the foreign insurance certificate can be used when obtaining an extension inside Thailand.
To be honest, after this trip I will be glad to let it go. At the moment I visit family for 6 or 7 weeks maybe 3 times a year and 60 day TR visas would be a lot better. Not bothered about the expense.
with back to back or many Tourist visas in your passport at some point you probably will be questioned upon arrival by Thai Immigration why you don't get the correct visa for your stay in Thailand?
