TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the experience of a user whose application for a DTV visa was rejected despite following the checklist of required documents. The comments provide insights into potential reasons for the rejection, including missing information, detail accuracy regarding medical documentation, and whether the applicant was in the correct country when applying. Users offer suggestions like double-checking all application details and ensuring that medical documents are properly formatted and verified.
You must check your spelling, Middle name every details again. Usually if your documents not enough to approve they will request more documents. But in this case it's about missing some details.

Please provide as accurate detail about your medical application as possible. Such as recognized hospital, general diagnosis, treatment plan timeline, follow-up appointments, on hospital letterhead signed and stamped by your doctor? Have you been treated for this condition previously to applying. Did you attend Thailand to get this diagnosis and treatment plan?

Please explain the type of documentation and supporting information for the medical care appointment made with your DTV Visa Application.

Did you screen shot the application form to check if all information, spelling, dates are correct? Usually if the documentations are insufficient they would have asked for more. I'm sorry this happened. It is incredibly frustrating

Were you actually in the country where the Embassy is that you applied from ?
Ho Chi Minh communicated with me via email when I contacted them. Most embassies don't respond to phone calls. Calling an embassy or consulate to ask them why they rejected you sounds like an odd thing to do. Requesting clarification via email makes sense, but if they don't respond, there's nothing you can do.
i make already they say they don’t know they just staff the decision depends on the
Consul

Anonymous participant Calling is a waste of time. No guarantees of what language the person picking up the call will speak, and they certainly won't forward your call to the individual who reviewed your application. It's email or nothing. A phone call is a pretty confrontational method of communication for a matter like this; if they don't respond to your emails then there's nothing you can do. You move on.
I can assure you an American embassy or consulate will NOT entertain phone calls from applicants asking why they were rejected for a visa. Therefore, I see no reason why a Thai embassy or consulate should be any different.

Anonymous participant then I guess the only way is go through

But it will take long time and no any guarantee that you get any result 😕
I would exercise caution before filing a complaint. The consulate has full authority to reject applications, with or without a reason. Any complaint that causes a scene can be detrimental to future applications.
I would not file any complaints ! You can be denied at your first application but still approved at your second application. Maybe have someone experienced review your package, find the gaps, correct and resubmit.
I agree with this. Consulate officers reserve the right to reject applications with or without a reason. I was rejected without reason, but simply reapplied to a different consulate and got approved.
