Hi I moved to Chiang Mai to an Airbnb in a condotel 3 weeks ago. I asked the mangment office to fill out a TM30 so I can do a visa extension. They did it for me last year when I stayed. They said now they can't bc I should have told them 24 hrs when I landed.
Does anyone know what to do to get this filled out? If I jus showed up to immigration would they help? My landlord is in China and a Chinese citizen.
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is seeking assistance with obtaining a TM30 form for their visa extension in Chiang Mai. The condotel management has stated they cannot fill out the form as it should have been done within 24 hours of arrival. There are comments suggesting that for certain visa types, a TM30 may not be necessary for a 30-day extension, and there is also a humorous remark from a friend about their return to town.
you shouldn't need a TM.30 form when applying for an extension on a tourist visa at Chiang Mai Immigrations

AFAIK; Chiang Mai is NOT requiring tourists on 30 day visa exempt entries or 60 day tourist visa entries to have proof of a TM.30 when getting a 30 day extension.
