TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses concerns regarding changing visa types from Non-ED/Non-O to DTV and its impact on a bank account at Krungthai Bank. Responses indicate that transitioning between visa types does not typically affect bank account services. Users suggest that account holders can simply request a new bank book and update their address as needed. Additionally, leveraging the banking app is recommended for ease of transactions and management.

It doesn't effect anything on a DTV. Update your book and address. Do you have the banks app if not get them to set it up for you saves so much when you have this. I don't pay with cash anymore and the app allows you to track everything also can use it at ATM no fees

You will be fine. I have changed visa types and few times and no difference to my bank accounts. I think both of them think I am on original visa I opened with. One of them certainly thinks I still have a WP as I get services you need to have a WP for ie a certain card

Your book is full? Your bank book? Just go and ask for another one. No need to mention your visa type. You’re just a customer asking for a service. Same with the address change. Not sure the last one is really necessary though.

My address with Bangkok Bank has been the same for thirteen years even though I don’t live there any more.
