Hello friends. I'm Brazilian and I've been in Thailand for 2 years. Next week I'm going back to Brazil. 😭

It is the first time I have left the kingdom and I have doubts about the immigration procedure at the airport.

Can anyone tell me the sequence of procedures I should do at the airport before boarding ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The immigration procedure for departing Thailand involves several key steps: checking in for your flight, passing through security screening, and then going through passport control (immigration) before boarding your aircraft. If you are leaving Thailand on a NON-ED visa, ensure that it is still valid at the time of departure. If you plan to return on the same visa, obtaining a re-entry permit is necessary; this can be done at your local immigration office or at the airport after security. It’s generally a straightforward process unless there are specific legal concerns like an overstayed visa.

First, flush all your yabba down the toilet. Second, give away all your leftover weed to a needy adult. Third, send all remaining liquor to Mr Billy Brown in California, USA. Next, do as Brandon sez...

Do you have a valid visa?

I think it's the opposite, because I went through immigration when I arrived in Thailand. . Now I will have to go through immigration when leaving Thailand

Are you worried about security searching your bag? I don't quite understand your concern for leaving. It's a simple process unless you've overstayed your visa

Someone here in the group informed me that I must cancel my ED visa before leaving I didn't know if he didn't let me know I would have problems

you only need to cancel if you're on an extension.

If you're simply on a visa, you can just leave.

you said how to board the plane...Also, you will go through passport control, ie immigration, in your own country so I am correct.

Are you leaving for a short trip or for good? If it's a trip and you want to return on the same visa/extension you are currently on you will need a re-entry permit. You can either get at your local immigration office or at the airport after security.

My visa will expire the day after departure

then you don't need to worry about a re-entry permit but depending on the type of visa you may need to cancel it before leaving

My visa is Non-ED . Need to cancel?

@Marcos *********
yes you need to cancel before you leave. You should get a letter from your school saying you stop studying on the date you leave and then cancel in advance at your immigration office

Yes, Ed visas need to be canceled. If they are not canceled they will be considered as an overstay

you better check brazil regulations. But they check flights back and for from Brazil to Thailand quite a bit. I worked in Macae before and have been questioned by brazil and international police. (Once by a brit and once by an american)

Checkin for your flight. Go through security. Go through passport control. Find your gate and wait to board your plane.

I've always flown Japanese airlines over the Pacific and they keep you well fed.

But I think there's a requirement if you're flying domestically to purchase between 2-8 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts to make sure there's no room for suitcases in the overhead compartment.
