My gf and I nees non immigration b visas. I am American so thats easy, but she is S. African and there are more restrixtions. We were thinking about Singapore for visa run but money is tight.

Any experience with The Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi?

And remember there is a BIG difference between getting a Non-B because you're teaching here versus getting one for working in another trade LOOK at the website of the consulate you're thinking of using and make sure you meet the requirements posted on THAT consulate. They are not all the same

Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh I think are out for S/A passport holders. :/ Look on the website for the list of restricted countries

Vientiane or Savannakhet Lao would work. As would Kota Bharu Malaysia BUT Penang and Kuala Lumpur are out. Singapore is ALL online so they'll tell you before you go there if you're approved or not so you don't waste a trip
