So how easy is it to re enter Thailand with the DTV? I’m talking just if I want to travel to Vietnam to surf or visit my home country every once in a while. I had such a hard time even entering on my first DTV entry, I’m Australian and have only ever been in Thailand once on a visa exemption that’s it. Scared to even leave the country incase I get denied entry. Do fast track services increase chances of being let in easier?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the ease of re-entering Thailand with a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV), discussing personal experiences and concerns about immigration processes. The original poster, an Australian, expresses anxiety about potential difficulties when leaving Thailand for travel, particularly after a challenging initial entry with the DTV. Responses from community members indicate that re-entry is typically straightforward, with several confirming successful entries on similar visas and suggesting that making regular trips out of the country is viewed favorably by immigration officials. There's encouragement that anxiety may be playing a role in the poster's concern.

Like others I’m really curious what happen.

How was it a “hard time”?

You'll have zero issues. In fact, immigration prefers people making regular trips out of the country and back on a DTV, rather than spending all their time in country and only exiting when required.

I have flown in twice with my DTV and I just got stamped in and that was it.

What was so complicated about your entry? What did they ask you and what did you do?

IF your entire entry/stay history to thailand was one visa exempt entry before you got the DTV how did you "have such a hard time entering" on it?

Did you have it printed out and handed it to the officer with your passport when you went to stamp in?

What was hard about entering on it?

In theory you should be able to bounce out/back and get a brand new 180 day entry stamp
