TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses how to work as a freelance sports trainer in Thailand, including the need for a work permit and the possibility of registering a company. Responses indicate that while there are challenges, particularly regarding work permits, some have successfully operated in this field by establishing a company and hiring Thai nationals to meet labor regulations. It is also recommended to consult with a lawyer specializing in Thai immigration and business law for detailed guidance.
Your problem will be getting a work permit. There are ways to do that but unless you can find a company to provide one the only alternative is setting up a company, officially employing 4 thais for every work permit, paying social security for them etc
it has to do with visa and work permit. You can't freelance as a sports trainer. If you have enough money you might be able to start a gym, but you would need to employ minimum 4 thai national before you could even be considered for a work permit etc. It's not easy like "hey, let's move to another country and work as a freelance trainer". Ask yourself - could a thai person come to your country, get the visa to stay long term and get a work permit for a "random" freelance job, that many of your countries citizen can do as well? Most likely not... it would not be easy.

You will need at least 5 employees and even then i don't think you can work other than management. Likely as with most things a protected proffession.
