Is there anyone having experience with freelancer license in IT consulting and what is the process of obtaining a work permit as an independent worker? Any experienced thoughts would be very much appreciated! Many thanks!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a work permit as an independent IT consultant in Thailand, one cannot directly acquire a freelancer license as it does not exist in the country. Work permits can only be obtained through a registered company, either as an employee, or as an owner/director of your own company. It is advisable to contact companies that specialize in assisting freelancers with work permits, such as IGLU, for detailed guidance.
I'm interested in the services your company provides. And would like to ask a couple of questions.

The only way to obtain a Work Permit is with help of a company, or as employee or as director/owner of your own company. There is no free lance license in Thailand.

IGLU has been mentioned before in similar threads, but not sure of the details / process.
Google iglu Thailand and you'll find them.
