TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asks if they can receive a third 30-day visa exemption stamp on arrival by land after having previously entered Thailand twice (once by air and once by land). Commenters suggest that typically, travelers may receive two visa exempt entries per calendar year, but the rules may vary depending on nationality and the entry points. Overall, it seems likely that the user may be able to obtain another stamp if conditions are met.
Ok, makes sense. Never had a Visa exempt before but since I'm currently on a SETV (second one, before that non-B and one ED in 2014) I wonder if it's smart to use them as ''interval''(with 30 day extensions) instead of doing back-to-back SETV's.

no official limit but the immigration officers will question you if you are living here on back-2-back visa exempt entries. They can ask for proof of onward travel, proof of funds, and proof of a hotel booking IF they want to and failure to provide those things when asked can be grounds to deny you entry to the country.
The days of living here on back-2-back visa exempt entries are coming to a close.

All you can do is try it. I think you wouldn't have a problem because you only have one 30 day visa exempt entry by land (even though you're not from a country that has a limit) you should get stamped out and back in for a 30 day visa exempt stamp without a problem

I heard from somepne that for russian passp holders they habe that new law now..may be only with malaisian border..
make sure the company taking you there knows you hold a russian passport BEFORE you go all the way to the border :) You don't wanna get there and be denied.
Russian passport holders are NOT limited to two visa exempt entries per year by land and in fact can get as many as they want.
You should note however that more than a few land borders will not let you bounce out and back in at them.
Where did you get the one land border entry you have?

Most likely yes - you're allowed two visa exempt entries by land per calendar year. The only caveat is that I think this doesn't apply to some nationalities when entering from Cambodia. The gurus of this page will advise on that, but otherwise, yes you can.
