Does anyone know if it's still possible to get a 12 month ME Non-B in London, Cardiff or Hull? Or are they only doing 90 days now?
It's for an employee (not MD or shareholder).
Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
An individual inquired about obtaining a 12-month multi-entry Non-B visa from Thai consulates in London, Cardiff, or Hull, questioning whether they currently only offer a 90-day visa. Community responses indicated that although some consulates might only provide short-term visas, the Thai consulate in London confirmed that it's still possible to apply for a 12-month Non-B visa. Itโs suggested to apply in person or inquire with the consulate directly for the most accurate information regarding documentation and processing times.
Thanks so much for quick response. Mine will be my 4th 1 year multi entry, I normally get them in Penang, is there anything extra I need to get my accountant to prepare that is different for London?
by special post as they ask for, they got Tuesday, called me next day to check some details, had passport back on Friday, it is a lot of documents more than b visas usually are and seems same requirements for single or multi, friendly staff on phone and 4 day turn around ๐๐ผ
Hi, did you apply by post or in person? If it was by post how long did it take? I am going to the UK in a few weeks but will only be there for 10 days maximum and dont really want to go into London. (I am also a share holder)

Quick update in case it's helpful for others: London Embassy finally replied and it seems you CAN still apply for a 1 year ME Non-B.

Every consulate in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland have to obtain authorisation from the London Embassy to issue that particular visa. As Tod mentioned, better to just go direct to London and I would be surprised if you get the ME Iโm pretty sure they will only give the 90 days from what I have heard
, you're just applying for an extension so you can go when you have 30 days or less left on your current stamp. They ADD the year extension to your current expiration date so you don't lose any time going early.
Go by the phuket immigration office and get the hand out as far as the required documentation
Not sure what ME visa is but the non B, require you to send info in first by email, they send to london get the approval, once approved they email you to come and pick up the visa, but you must bring the original documents.

Can any of the consulates in the UK issue any ME visas off the bat anymore? I believe they simply send the applications to London for approval.
yes exactly what i got but took me less than 5 minutes to pickup. They ask to email them all info first. They then emailed back to say its approved then i just rocked up handed the originals 5 mins later had the visa. Must be a yorkshire thing ๐
yeah, they list single entry 90 day non-immigrant type visas on their site but not the year ones

also neither Hull nor Cardiff offer a year-long, multi-entry Non-Immigrant Type B visa that I could see on their website, just a 90 day single entry.

That's gonna take you contacting those consulates and asking them. So few people actually go that far to get a Non-B I doubt you're gonna get any good solid answers.
I do know for sure that a person recently got a year-long, mulit-entry Non-B from the thai consulate in Monaco without being a share holder or a managing director, BUT that's all I know.
