After reading about it can I leave my 90 day report till I renew my visa? I'm currently about 7 and a half hours away and they want me to travel there to report because I missed the online date. I usually get an email reminder but didn't this time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, you can wait to file your 90-day report until you apply for your visa extension, but you must be aware of the associated fines. After a due date, you have a grace period of 7 days. If you miss this window, a fine of 2000 baht is imposed, which remains the same regardless of how late you are. It's important to note that it's your responsibility to track your 90-day reporting dates, as reminder emails are no longer consistently sent.

Okay this turned into a train wreck (after Lloyd and others gave the correct answer)

After you've filed your first 90 day report in person, to use the 90 day report online web-portal you have from 2 weeks before the due date to 1 week before the due date to apply.

As a rule they do not send out emails anymore (so you have to count to 90 yourself ๐Ÿ˜ฎ )

You have from 2 weeks before the due date to 1 week AFTER the due date to apply in person.

BUT

once you're more than 7 days late the fine is 2000baht, and it stays 2000baht whether you're 8 days late or 8 MONTHS late.

IF you're okay with getting the 2000baht failure to file on time fine, then just wait and file a late 90 day report when you go to that office to apply for your yearly extension

Good luck to the O/P, we are done (y)

You have 7 days after the due date

Just pay the 2000 baht fine
Lloyd ********
That all depends if your extension falls within the 15 before/7 after timeframe. If not, then expect a 2000 fine.

I'm within the 7 day after timeframe but don't really want to make a 16 hour round trip.

@Paul *******
Totally your choice , just be aware of the 2k fine.

yeah. I'm aware of the fine. Don't mind paying it. Better than travelling 16 hours and paying for petrol and a hotel. My main concern is any problems I might have if I don't do it.

There are people who never do a 90-day report and just accept the annual 2000 baht fine as a cost of convenience.
