Hey guys. So I just realized I missed my 90 day report. It was due Nov 1. I have a vague recollection of someone telling me that I can just show up on the next occasion, 90 days from Nov 1, and get away with a fine. I just want to check if this is the case, and what other options I might have? Thanks in advanced

The fine is 2000baht for failure to report on time, but as was said, it doesn't get any bigger than that (although it can indeed) so whether you go now or in another 90 days or just before you need your next extension it won't matter the fine will be the same.

The reason I say the fine can get higher is if you are caught out on something else and they see you've not done a 90 day report. That's when the fine can go up.

I know people who do ONE 90 day report a year (in Bangkok) and that's just before they get their new yearly extension of stay. The immigration officers here in Bangkok look at the last entry to thailand and for your 90 day reporting slip when you do an extension of stay. Those people file one 90 day report and pay the 2000baht fine for failure to have filed a report on time. They get the receipt and the failure to file stamp in their passport then they go get an extension of stay. I know people who've done it that way for 7-8 years now.

Stephen. That's correct but with the non imm O and B multi entry visa you need to leave the country every/within 90 days or apply for an extention of stay.

O-A visa requires 90 day reports.

Alex. If you are doing 90 day reports then you've got an 'extention of stay'. You have to leave the country every 90 days with the 1 year non b visa
