Hi I want to apply for tourist visa extension (uk passport, was given 29 days rather than 30 oddly) and just realised I have the wrong TM6 in my passport. It’s stamped June from my prior visit here. I have no idea what happened to the current one, I’d left the old one in my passport and presume the immigration official handed it back with the wrong one in there (doubt I lost it). Point is, having the wrong TM6 does this automatically scupper any visa extension because I don’t have the right paperwork? If you don't have XYZ it's over before you start? Or can is it something that can be sorted out and they can accommodate stuff like this? Curious if anyone else has had this sort of problem or if people have any wisdom on this situation. Taken the extension to the wire so not much time, its monday or I have to jet out the next day, thx!

Your arrival day is day one regardless of the time you actually enter the country. On a visa exempt entry you’d be given 29 extra days to stay (59 on a tourist visa and so on). TM6 suspended on July 1st (hopefully never to be seen again).

Tm6 for incoming travelers has been suspended for a few months now, you won't have filled one out when coming in. I'd just remove the old one and carry on

The TM6 arrival card has been temporarily discontinued. That's WHY you don't have one in your passport.

Go to your local Thai immigration office on Monday and apply for your 30 day extension of stay.

This is the common found requirements...ask your Thai immigration office for their requirements.
