Hi everyone some advice needed please . I'm hoping to fly out to Thailand from the uk in march to see my girlfriend , I'd like to stay for 2 months , as i understand it when you arrive in thailand you'll get a 30 day stamp , can I get an extension while I'm in Thailand , thanks .

It's actually cheaper for us in the UK (£30) to get the tourist visa plus like others have said your not messing about for a couple of days getting an extension for the visa exempt

how about getting all your necessary paperwork in order. Making sure you have the correct size passport photos before you head to immigration ? Your not talking down to some inexperienced numpty you know.

it's not too bad. Get yourself some knowledge on resizing pictures as everything needs to be less than 3mb in size. Other than that it is easy

I’d apply for a tourist visa before you go and you get 60 days as mentioned above. That way you don’t have to mess around at the local immigration office while you’re here. Visa application is all online nowadays and don’t even need to send your passport to the embassy anymore.
