In an effort to avoid the madness at Chiang Mai Immigration, does anyone know if Lamphun or Lampang Immigration are open this week?

or would the lag time in updating my address in the database (from the hotel's TM30 filing) cause issues/confusion?

so if i were to stay at a hotel in lampang for a day, which would officially change my address in thailand, i could use lampang instead of chiang mai (where i currently reside)?
