Yes i have done it, but some offices wont like to do it because its more complex for them, best to check at your local office.

For certicate of residence my local office (prachinburi), want the owners house book and ID, its unlikey they will accept a copy on its own

I worked in bkk and Bangkok accounts, when I moved into the sticks I had to go to Bangkok to make changes etc to my account, I closed the bkk accounts and now bank locally.

I'm sure if your working on your property or garden as long as you weren't make money would be fine.

There is a list of job which can only be done by Thais, broadly speaking the more skill involved the better chance you have.

It's basic stuff, account name, account number and something like "Mr Blogs has 1mthb in his account. With the date. If your if your feeling cute ask them to address it too "The immigration officer at xxx"
