I am from Singapore and did my DTV application when I came back in mid January for the Chinese New Year. The response was fast. 2 days after initial application online, I received an email to submit more information. Another 2 days later, I received they telephone call to explain to me that they need 3 months of complete bank statements plus a screenshot of the bank account balance within the last 3 days. On the 10th day, I received the email with my DTV (there were 2 days of public holidays).

My DTV was for digital nomad. The cost is S$500 or 12,500 baht. Documents requested for were:

1. 3 months bank statements with 50,000 baht or more

2. Letter of appointment or contract from your company + the Company Registration (ROC)

3. Proof of residence in Thailand. Rental lease or the blue book or title deed

4. Proof that you are in the country, I understand you can use your boarding pass but they ask for my ID card too as my residential address is in there.

The return airfare for Bangkok to Singapore is around 5000 baht for budget airlines. Hotel 2000b a night, bed & breakfast 500b.

Hope that the info may be of use to someone wanting to apply for DTV.

I read in another group page that you need to resubmit all the documents to do the renewal and it is as troublesome as a new application as compared to doing a border run (a night stay recommended). If you are in Phuket, maybe a night in Malaysia's Penang or KL will be easier.

I just received my DTV, it took 10 days. Applied online in Singapore. One of the additional information I was asked to send in was the last 3 months' bank statements (Nov, Dec and a screenshot of latest update). I remembered it was stated online the 500k baht must be in your account for 60 days.

My DTV stated that I am not allowed to work in Thailand. So if your business is registered in your name, may not work for you.
