What are the current requirements for maintaining a retirement visa in Thailand, specifically regarding the 800,000 THB financial rule?

i think rule is 800,000 2 months before and 2 months after, rest of year 400,000. Please let me know if this has changed.

When I applied for mine 5 years ago at Los Angeles, yes, I was required to have my ticket booked (you might want ask your embassy this question)
