book flights with Qatar you can change dates for no fee , last year I phoned thai embassy in London and was told have to have flights booked but don't worry you will get visa

Get insurance from thai company UK insurance maybe not valid, I'm going to use thai AXA , good luck

What steps should I take after my TR visa application status indicates to go to the embassy?

Had the same this week, as earlier comment said click on right hand side box print off and send to embassy with passport, send registered post with return registered envelope back to yourself, I posted Monday got back today Friday, I kept checking status but it was the same all week go to embassy but today I have visa, good luck

yeah I tried phoning but they don’t answer so I emailed and you just get a standard reply but in one of the emails they mentioned the agency, I can’t understand it as some countries seem to be able to apply through the embassy direct.

no I still can’t find it , I investigated online and it seems you have to use an agency based in Thailand called thailongstayvisa , have a look , I’ve started to use them and will see how it goes,let me know how you get on
