yep, they have lots of reasons to stop entry. Im sure this will make the airlines stricter on people boarding with single tickets.

I also heard, they can refuse entry if you dont have 20k baht or equivalent in any currency .

it is the immigration who will refuse your entry, then , the airline, whom brought you, is responsible for your return. Hence why they should check , if you have a single ticket, so they dont have to repatriate you.

KLM, Humberside airport, questioned me about my single flight. I showed them my visa and then it was ok.

Its the airline's responsibility if you get refused entry, to take you back.

it's not immigration who are concerned about onward travel, its the airline you fly with. If you get refused entry, they are responsible for you.
