 Yes, I only submitted the contract of my main job (I work as an I.C.) and got approved. Oh, well, actually, I submitted a letter issued by the company and addressed to the local Thai Embassy stating I worked for them and was allowed to work abroad.

Yes, they are, but only if legally recognized as such, meaning legally married people, registered children, etc.

No, they won't do anything to your passport in relation with the visa. The PDF file itself is the visa.
