he should not need to show the print off. The stamp is very clear as a non-o Visa

I hear what you’re saying. We live in Phichit and they are very relaxed. Officer came to house, no questions for neighbors, and only required one photo of the wife and I in front of the house showing that house number.

actually if you keep copies of your original extension application, all you have to do is update the TM seven and go to the ampour for a marriage certificate verifying that you are still married. Other than that I just copied the same documents. I use one when I initially applied.

it’s not 40 K a month and 400,000 in the bank. You can only do the 40 K a month after your first year it’s the same as a retirement visa. Only the amounts are smaller.

i’m from the US. I have a non-o Visa based on marriage and I have to do 90 day recording and apply for Ext every year just like a retirement visa only with more requirements.  please inform me how I can get away with not having a visa just because I’m married to a Thai lady.

why don’t you fly to Manila and go to the office in person? It’s not that expensive.

unfortunately that is exactly the mindset of the people that work at the embassy. That’s why anyone applying for a visa to the United States must show significant ties and reasons to return to Thailand.

if you do it yourself the only cost is the application fee $185. Getting an agent is useless as they cannot accompany her to the House interview (the most important part of the process). She has to prove significant ties to Thailand, stable job with good income,bank account, land or house ownership car, etc. Attention She will never get approved saying she wants to meet her boyfriend’s parents.  she would have a better chance saying she wants to visit Disneyland. Sorry but all of this is true. Do your research on the best way to get her visa approved. It took me two times to get my wife’s visa approved, and that’s after my wife had already been to America on a fiancé visa and she returned to Thailand because she decided she did not want to live in the US. So that’s why we decided to apply for a tourist visa. It still took her two attempts.
