No thanks i'd rather take a long weekend trip to KL, than have to jump through these bureaucratic hoops, which really is a fools errand in my opinion.

Thank you very much for the speedy reply. I'm similar situation lol, British but work as contractor in Dubai, thus UAE resident. My company in UAE has given me a NOC saying I can work remotely. Did you have to send UAE residency proof and UAE bank account?
