thank you. Again I have nothing to gain here. I'm not trying to play a victim or anything. Just simply giving a warning that this can and does happen. I wasn't expecting it and maybe would have considered doing fast track or something if I was aware. My past history and visa is nothing out of the ordinary and many people in the same position just wanted to share my experience to help others.

because a DTV visa is approved my the embassy not immigration. Immigration can still deny entry. I'm not the first person this has happened to and more people are being questioned and interviewed which is why I made the post as a warning. It's Thailand that's how these things go sometimes.

I had showed the entry immigration officer my approved DTV letter with the QR code. She saw my recent student visa moved me to the office area where I was requested to do an interview.

yes, if you can't be let into a country and have to go back the way you came is that not being deported?

exactly and can't say i don't have the money when you have to prove 500k baht for the DTV
