i do not need to mention i agree, but the lease contract has my name and his name on it, if they question about my accommodation and who is this other guy on the contract or straight up is he not the same guy who you work with? becuase all the work contracts are signed by him, his name is all over

yes i can say that he is a friend, because i have a very good relation with boss, and if they catch on the name that isn't he the same guy as your employer, then i can say that yeah I work for him as well and we both decided to catch up and spend some time and work as well.

shall i book another accommodation? And if they ask, I'll say it's for one week and for the rest period I'll stay in some other city etc if they gets deep into my employer being residing in Thailand
