thanks for all the great info. I have the 90 day non o, went to immigration today and got the residency form, then to the bank...but have to go back once I have a Thai phone number (I just arrived on the plane yesterday from the US)

Yes, non O. I can ask for the rest, but I need to know, hopefully before I arrive, if I need a year lease or can I do a short term rental...and do both of our names need to be on it

I am facing the same issue. I think, just to avoid issues at the airport, I'm going to use onwardtickets.com to purchase a fake airline ticket. It's pretty cheap and probably worth it bot to have to deal with issues at the airport.

Non O visa does not require health insurance. OA requires health insurance. Apply under "other" for Non O.
