"I received my DTA visa last year in November, and I'm currently based in Australia. I work in Australia, where my primary income source is, but I’m planning to move to Pattaya for good. I’m drawn to the lower cost of living and a more peaceful lifestyle there compared to the hustle and bustle here.
I have a fair bit of savings (about 150k AUD) and plan to live off them for the first 1.5 years. My monthly budget is roughly 30,000–40,000 THB. I’m not a partygoer and would like insights into potential monthly expenses, including:
* Rent
* Food
* Transport
Could those familiar with the cost of living in Pattaya provide realistic estimates or advice on this plan? Thanks in advance!"
Hi guys! Did anyone open Start up company in Thailand (Smart S Visa)? I understand requirements that are for applying for Visa (pitch deck, 600k thb,health insurance). But i didnt find any information about what obligations and expenses there are once your visa is approved (im looking for 2 year Startup). Do i need employ Thai people with Smart S same as with regular Business Visa? Do i need have Thai partner (shareholder) or no? Do i have to have an accountant or i can keep tracking of my finances? Are there any other monthly expenses? Or anything else I should know!
