Have a question about filling out a re-entry form (TM.8) for immigration (don't want to do it at the airport) as a retiree on an extension.
On the 2nd side, it asks for type of Visa and issued at/date, does that refer to your original visa? (e.g. Non-Immigrant-O) - mine was many years ago , or do they really just mean your last extension date? (it also asks for arrival date, should that be your last arrival in Thailand (as on the TM.7) or the original date you first got a Non-Immigrant visa to Thailand?)
As far as I remember, I've never had to put down my original Non-O visa issue date or arrival date on any forms before....
Hi all, I want to extend my non-immigrant-O visa based on marriage for one year. I had been on the immigration office in Koh Samui yesterday and been told my money came in to late. It showed up in the bank account on May 8th, my exit stamp says July 6th, so I am two days short. If I go for a Covid extension for two months, is it still possible to go for an one year extension after that. Furthermore the wanted to see a rental contract that has a minimum rental time of 6 months. Did somebody have the same experience or any recommendations for me?
Has anyone recently been successful in getting a Non- immigrant-O spouse visa from the Thai Trade & Economy Office in Taipei? If so would you mind sharing your experience
My Non-immigrant-O extension will expire on 21 January 2019. My USA passport will expire 11 months later: on 7 December 2019. The secretary at my NGO, who claims to know about such things, said this will be a problem, and that I need to get a new passport before my visa extension. Any truth to this? Thank you, in advance.
Question: I have a Non-immigrant-O visa with a 1-year marriage extension. I'm due for a 90-day report on 7th of Nov., but will be leaving the country on that day. I would guess then that the 90-day report is unecessary. Correct?
Also, I realise I'll have to apply for a re-entry permit at the airport before leaving, as to be able to come back on same visa. However, I've never done it before... Will be a first. So any tips regarding this appreciated also.
