I'm coming from America on my passport 30 days. When I arrive I will work on getting a retirement visa. I'm coming on a one way plane ticket. Is this a problem? I can't find info on this and have never did a one way before.
i will be flying to phuket from bkk airport with my thai girlfriend next week. she is not vaccinated. do you know if they always check the vaccine/atk test when check in at airport ?
I need to travel to the United States next week and I have some questions about the process. I'm unvaccinated and I'm worried about being denied entry at airports along the way. My flight path is from Bangkok to Japan to Canada to the US. I don't have to change airports in Japan or Canada. Will I be allowed to wait in the international transit areas of these airports and board my next flights? Do I just need to show a recent covid test? Does it need to be PCR or antigen?
My understanding is that a negative covid test taken within 24 hours is all I need to enter the US (as a US citizen), but my total flight time is 32 hours, so does that mean I will need to get another covid test along the way at one of the airports?
What are the current requirements for unvaccinated travelers returning to Thailand from the US? Do I just need to register with Thailand Pass? Do I need to get a covid test before I leave or on arrival? Does it need to be PCR or antigen?
Any help with answering these questions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙏
Hi all. Any advice much appreciated: thailandpsas.com (the site I was referred to by my SHA+ Hotel) says all arrivals to Phuket will have PCRs done at airport on arrival. Meanwhile Thailand Pass website (tp.consular.go.th) says I need to book a hotel that includes 1 RT-PCR plus 1ATK test included in the booking. These are inconsistent aren't they?
Planning to fly from Phnom Penh to Europe, transiting through Suvarnhabumi. Do I need anything besides proof of vaccination and negative PCR? What about children aged 1 and 3? Do they need PCR? Thanks!
Update for entering (returning to) uk: Boris Johnson has confirmed that fully vaccinated travellers will no longer have to present a negative coronavirus test (PCR or lateral flow) before being allowed to embark on their journey to England.
