TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around users' experiences when departing from UK airports after the travel ban was introduced. Most comments indicate that they encountered no problems, highlighting that airports remain open for legitimate travel reasons. One comment suggests that while there is increased stress and uncertainty before departure, the focus of current regulations is primarily on arrivals rather than departures.
scaremongering by the media mate, there’s no form, and I very much doubt there will be a form. They’ve already blocked the entry back in, so why would they need to do any more for those brave enough to leave...?
what are you on about? I’m referring to entry into the uk...? 🙄 And i’ll have you know I have already paid for the process. Currently waiting for my departure date 🤔

People can travel for legitimate reasons that's why airports are open. They are asking people not to book "leisure holidays". So not sure why anyone flying to Thailand would tell uk authorities it's a "leisure" holiday and not give a better reason if asked.
name plastered over social media. she'll be getting picked out of the queue in immigration on the way back into Heathrow. "Excuse me madame, can we just have a quick word.....".
