Which health insurance companies and plans do you use? How's their customer service? I've been with Aetna/Allianz Ayudhya for a few years and want to change to another one. I'm looking at accident and inpatient only. Thanks
I'm looking for recommendations on health insurance company. I'm moving to Thailand in 3 months and will stay in Thailand most of the year.
For those of you who live in Thailand most of the year, what company offers the best package and premiums?
I'm not looking just for the lowest premium. I'm also looking for a company that has a good reputation for honoring their policy when problems do happen.
Since I will be going back to Canada most summers to visit family, I would also need a company that offers international coverage (i.e. Thailand, Canada, and other Asian and European countries that I might travel to).
Do any of you have a similar situation in terms of health insurance requirements?
We have moved to Thailand and I am looking for a good health insurance company for my husband. He’s had BUPA in Britain but it can not transfer to Thailand. Is there any recommendations please. Thank you
Question regarding Thai Covid-19 insurance coverage: I am moving to Thailand for work, and I already have international coverage for *everything but Covid-19*. I know I need the 100k USD/90 day coverage certificate for my visa paperwork and CoE, but I assume I will need coverage for Covid beyond that date. Right now, all the plans I see for a year include coverage that overlaps with my existing insurance for non-Covid illness/incidents, and they are very expensive. So, my question boils down to this: Are there are purely Covid-19 coverage plans out there that are cheaper than the more comprehensive coverage of plans I've seen out there (Luma, Pacific Cross, Aetna, etc.)?
Also, is my assumption correct that it is worth it to buy yearly coverage for Covid-19 if I know I am going to be in Thailand that long, or take it 90 days at a time?
