I'm having 2 questions:

1. Is it possible to apply for a Non-O (retirement purpose) for a Canadian citizen? The Ottawa website only specify visiting family

2. is it possible to get an official Declaration of Revenue aka Affidavit form the Canadian Embassy in Bangkok or the Consulate in Chiang Mai or Phuket.

Hi everyone, my boyfriend (Spanish citizen) and I (Canadian citizen) will be going from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, to Phuket today in the afternoon. We are a bit worried that the citizens of Spain might have some issues such as daily checks by officers and such. Would you say his citizenship would be an issue? We’ve been in Japan (3 weeks) , and then Vietnam (for the last 3 weeks).

Also, do we need a hotel reservation for every day of our stay to get the free 30-day visa? Thanks a lot!

Crazy!! This is copy and pasted from a friend's fb. As you can see they've locked him up because he tried to visit Thailand for just the third time this year! This is crazy, this dude is a Canadian who lives and works in Korea!! Can anyone help or suggest something, I'm up in CM.
