When applying for a 12 month non o retirement extension upon the expiration of a 12 month non o marriage extension, presumably you don't need to show 400k baht in the bank account throughout the previous year like you would if extending a non o retirement?
I recently turned 50, and secured my first Non O retirement visa (3 months). Soon I need to apply for my first 12 month extension. Local expats here in Hua Hin tell me I need to get a 12 month statement for my account at Bangkok Bank (which takes a week to get). However, the official immigration documents say the the 800k only has to be in the account for 2 months prior to applying for the (first) 12 month extension. Is the 12 month bank statement actually necessary for first time retirement extension applications?
Hello all, I have a question. I went into Jomtien immigration for my first covid extension. I was given the 'under consideration' set for the 30th of November. I'm wondering when on the 27th, they do not issue covid extensions anymore, will it mean I won't get the extension anymore?
Question: I'm on visa exempt and was wondering if I have to get the 30 day extension before I can apply for the covid extension? Maybe I can apply for both?
Returning home to the U.S. holds very little appeal right now, and I definitely recall reading our embassy would not issue letters to apply for extension at immigration. Now it's a very painless online process to request a letter, and the auto-response says it will reply in two days after the application. I don't have high hopes for actually getting the extension w/out strong reason to be "unable to return" for health reasons or lack of flights, but I hope to try this week. See here for the site:
I am on a one year non O marriage visa. Entered on 16 March. I posted a question here about 90 day reporting and note that I am not required to do this. However I forgot to mention my last visit to Pathumthani Immigration about 2 weeks ago. I needed a Certificate of Residence to renew my driver's license. They would not issue it as my 90 day stay had expired . But they did offer me the option to apply for a 60 day extension. But before I could do this I first needed to do a 90 day report. I gave up and went home. Question is are people on Amnesty on Non O visas being asked to do a 90 day report before they can apply for the 60 day extension? Or is this just Pathumthani ?
Due to Christmas, New Year and holidays I have to submit my new yearly married visa application 03-01-2020. now I am looking for a possibility to get a 90 day visa in between so that I can only submit my application on 03-04-2020 annually. I have read that I could get that visa in Savarnakhet Laos is that correct?
After 7 consecutive annual extensions of stay based on marriage and a 400K cash deposit, this year I will unfortunately miss the cut-off time for the 2 month seasoning of the 400K deposit. Therefore, I will most likely need to apply for the " 60 day visit my Thai wife extension for 1900 baht without showing any banked money" as mentioned above. What documents and which form are required in order to obtain the 60 day extension?
