For anyone going to Vietnam for a tourist visa: Ho Chi Minh embassy want to see all documents and are enforcing it. Bank statements, air tickets and proof of hotel bookings. This is for a single entry tourist visa on a U.K. passport. They checked each document time and time again.
They also described the picking up of the visa as ‘the result’...
Have all your documents printed before you come here. You’ve been warned!
Update: Very doable in 36 hours, flew early morning from Don Meuang with Nok Air and then returned the next day in the evening. Visa ready at 13.30pm next day, website says 2 working days [I think] which is incorrect!
Hi all, I'm heading to Bali for a visa run. I have not been able to contact the consulate in advance. I won't find out until I get to the consulate in Denpassar on Friday if they will process a request for a non-O visa. If they do, I still won't find out until then what paperwork they will want. So, I'm asking a worst-case scenario question. I will have the income affidavit I got in Bangkok and a copy of my bank statement. What else could I possibly need? A health check up from the hospital here before I go? Any kind of rental agreement from my landlord? If so, for how long? Is one month enough? Anything else? What is the most that you have heard that people are asked for? Thanks!
I will have to travel to Savannakhet in a week or so to get a Non B as part of the application process for a work permit. My school are currently sorting the paperwork and are awaiting a letter from the M of E apparently.
Is there anything else other than my passport I need to take? I assume I will also need photos and my original degree certificate which I have.
I saw someone refused at Vientiane fairly recently and want to ensure I'm properly prepared.
