I can’t find any info on the Taipei website because it just lists people who can apply that have a residency visa in Taiwan .

But can Americans without a residency permit in Taiwan apply?

Hi all. My husband and I are planning to move to Thailand soon, initially coming on tourist visas. We've heard that before being granted a one-year visa, immigration typically issues a 3-month visa while you wait for your actual residency permit. My question is, will I be able to be attached to the 3-month Non-B visa? I work remotely and don't plan to get a separate visa, so I would be on my his visa. I'm concerned that if I can't join the Non-B visa, I might have to leave and re-enter Thailand, which I'd like to avoid.Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Some kind of "permit" is required for foreigners purchasing vehicles in Thailand? That concerns me, but perhaps it's being overhyped when in fact it may be nothing at all.

Went to immigration and got a residency permit whilst there I spoke about renewing my first O-A extension of stay, spoke to a great gentleman with lots of usual information but on the required list of documents it asks for a photo outside of house with visible building number and a map with route to house in case an immigration rep wants to pay a visit ???
