Dear group, I want to apply for a retirement visa in Thailand and I am going to Bangkok and Pattaya from March to May and I think it is the easiest way to hire a visa agent in Pattaya to arrange this. what is your opinion on this. thanks in advance for your opinion. the problem is that when applying for the pension visa, the question is asked where I will live and I have not arranged that yet, so I cannot get any further in the visa application. I have no problem with the 800,000 bath. so income enough. I also have to find out the tax rules from a Thai lawyer and will therefore not stay in Thailand for more than 180 days. in connection with having my own house that has been paid off in the Netherlands. many thanks for your thoughts. Hi I only see one visa agency in Krabi called Buttercup can anyone reccomend them for a retirement visa? Or would a bigger town be more wise to try to do it instead?

Looking for suggestions for a reliable visa agent. I have reached out to many and the rates and requirements vary greatly.

One agent, Speedy Visa in Pattaya, charge THB7000 for Bangkok Bank account, and THB32,500 for non-o visa, and claim they deposit THB800,000 on my behalf so no need to lock up my own funds and 12 month rental contact not needed. Sounds almost too good to be true. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge about them.
