Hello again! I am from the USA and over 50. I transferred my funds from overseas to my Thai bank on November 16 to position myself to apply for a Non-O visa after January 16 and eventually obtain a retirement visa (based on guidance previously provided here). I would like to know what timeline for processing the application and obtaining retirement visa I should expect. Currently I will fly into Bangkok on December 30: my return flight to US is March 28. My concern, Will I need to extend my stay to complete the visa process? Not clear how this works.
60 tourist eVisa granted via UK Thai Embassy (online). 5 days in total, requested additional info for inbound flights. Minor inconvenience.
Issued overnight...All good. Worth noting that my application went back to the bottom of the pile after they requested extra info, took three days extra from that date.
I uploaded a copy of passport bio for travel history and driving licence as proof of UK residency.
Does anyone know how long it generally takes for an employer to get back a letter of approval from the Ministry of Labor in response to a Form WP3 submission?
I ask just since this is the only thing at this point that could potentially delay me getting my Non-Immigrant B Visa such that I have to delay my flight. Thanks all!
