Hi, I'm applying DTV visa from Cambodia. Is the processing time 10 business day after submitting the application (doesn't include the day of submission) or 10 business days after its "processing pending approval"? I submitted mine on Jan 17th Friday evening and turned "processing pending approval" on Jan 22nd.
I live in Thailand in rented apartments, having to travel to Ho Chi Minh to submit the DTV application online - to prove the current location in Vietnam am I right in thinking an entry stamp to Vietnam will suffice or perhaps a hotel stay confirmation ?
Also how long is it taking roughly for the visa to be approved ?
Quick question if you want your wife or girlfriend to come to the UK for a holiday applying for a holiday Visa. How long does the process normally take? When you put the papers in to get in a reply. To whether she passes or not
Hi everyone, thank you for helping in advance, me and my wife have been trying to get a Thai e-visa (tourist), so we sent in our application (separately) 6 days ago to the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing. I'm a 38-year-old Hungarian, with a Chinese residence permit, since my wife is a Chinese citizen. As far as I knew Thai e-visas application should last about 5-10 working days, and because I'm not applying from my home country it might take a month or so, but I was hoping we would get it faster. We booked our flight for September 13, thinking that 5-6 weeks should be enough time. Well. today the embassy in Beijing got back to both of us, sending me an e-mail in which they said that they started processing my visa, and "this might take approximately eight weeks". Did any of you have such a long waiting time to get your visa done? I'm guessing it's because I'm in China and there are tons of people here now who are trying to get to Thailand, or it might have to do with the fact that I'm not a Chinese citizen, or is it normal that I've received such a message and after all I might get it within a few weeks?
And our fun doesn't end here, because they cancelled my wife's visa altogether, saying "There is an incorrect information on passport information in your online application (Wrong name), hence your online application has been cancelled." The only possible thing that we can think of is that we mixed up her family name with her first name, but unfortunately there's no way we could check it now. Did anyone receive a similar message before? I'm guessing there's no way to continue with her application now, and we have to start from scratch losing the application fee, but I'm curious if anyone had similar issues before, and how were they solved? My wife sent an e-mail to the embassy and we're planning to call them tomorrow (they only have visa inquiry phone service between 3-4pm each weekday), but I'm not confident we would be able to reach them. And now I'm getting quite worried that we wouldn't be able to travel on September 13.
I recently applied to the LA consulate in the United States for a STV visa. I filled out everything which with all the desired paperwork on December 31st. I haven't heard anything back yet.
Anybody know how long it will take to receive word back from the consulate. My flight is on the 22nd of January so I'm very nervous. And advice would be appreciated on what you would do.
